Encompassing nearly seven million square kilometers of land over nine South American nations, the Amazon Rainforest is the expansive home to some of the most unique flora and fauna in the world. The densely humid climate makes the Amazon the perfect home for countless animal species. A whole tenth of the world's known species live in the Amazon. The bizarre and dangerous alike make their homes within the lush greenery and warm rivers, creating a cacophony of noise throughout the jungle. Toucans, electric eels, glass frogs, and kinkajous live in close proximity, creating a diverse spread of ecology throughout the area.
